This quiet apartment, decorated with taste and designed with care, is located in the heart of the haut marais. With beautiful artwork and a unique design, it really feels like home. The apartment is located near the trendy restaurants and cafés on rue de Bretagne, Enfants rouges covered market and it’s delicious food stands, and the fashion stores and museums of the marais district.

Good to know

This duplex appartement of 35 sqm (3 800 sqf) is located on the ground floor of a typical building from le Marais. You can self check-in at anytime, day or night (the code to the electronic door lock will be provided before your arrival). The apartment was designed and decorated with taste by an interior designer. The living room and kitchen overlook a charming and quiet courtyard, full of plants. It's a very quiet place while being right in the center of the Marais. In the bedroom, located in a beautiful stone arched basement, you will find a queen size bed and a beautiful bathtub. In the living room, a convertible sofa (double bed 140x200) is available. The dinning area comprises a dining table for 2/3 guests. The kitchen is well equiped with a dish washer, a combined oven and microwave, an induction hob, a kettle, a nespresso coffee machine doing lattes (with complimentary nespresso capsules for the duration of your stay), a toaster, crockery and utensils. The bathroom has a shower, sink, hair dryer, and toilet. Hand, body and hair products are also provided as well as soft towels. There is also a washer/dryer in the bathroom as well as an iron table, iron and drying rack. An ultra high speed internet connection is also available everywhere in the apartement.

*FAQ* Check-in / Check-out: Check-in is at 3 pm and check-out at 10 am. If you check out late without prior approval, it will affect our organisation and next guest check-in. Without prior notice, a 60€/hour fee will be applied for each hour beyond check-out time. Early check-in / late check-out: An early check-in (from noon) or late check-out (until noon) is possible depending on the previous guest departure time or next guest arrival time. Feel free to ask us. The price for an early check-in and/or the late check-out is 30€ for the first hour and 10€ for the next hours. Please, ask us in advance so we can check availability and block that time for you. Accessibility: The apartment is not suitable for people with reduced mobility. Cancellation / amendments We cannot cancel or change your reservation. In case you want to make an amendement, you can do so in the Airbnb app at any time. Eco-Friendly practices for our guests: your help in making your stay greener is appreciated! - Waste sorting: please use the two bins provided (one for household waste and the other for plastics, cardboard, and packaging) and dispose of glass bottles in the designated container. - Energy saving: turn off lights and devices when not in use. - Eco-friendly temperature: keep heating below 21°C. - Efficient use of appliances: please use washing machines with full loads.

Use of the apartment: - Please respect our/your neighbors : no party, reasonable sound volume. - Filming or making pictures for a diffusion, even restricted, requires our agreement beforehand. A 100€ / day additional fee is requested for any professional use. Access to the apartment: - Access to the apartment is strictly restricted to the people on the booking (breaking this rule will immediately lead to the end of your stay / booking). - It is possible to add guests until the check-in day for 10€/day/guest for the whole stay, a towel set will be provided for each guest. - In case we find out that extra bed sheets and/or towels have been used (without prior notification of additional guests and payment of additional fee), we will charge 20€/day/guest to cover for laundry cost.

The apartment is a 2-minute walk from le Marais and Rue de Bretagne. Place des Vosges is a 10-min walk. The workshop of lights and the Picasso Museum are within a 10-min walking distance as is Place de la Bastille or République. You will find the famous trendy shop "Merci" right next door, or the delicatessen "Maison Plisson", many shops for shopping lovers or galeries around rue de Turennes and rue Veille du Temple.

We stayed at Louis’ place for a week. It was perfect. Sure, staying in a basement that feels like an old castle was different, but it added to the charm. No issues with must or smell for us at all. It is so close to transit and so many great areas of Paris. Louis is really responsive and helpful. There are great and specific instructions on how to use everything in the house which were some of the most detailed I have seen. Thanks Louis for a great experience in Paris.

El departamento es tal cual como se ve en las imágenes. Un edificio de época con instalaciones y equipamiento muy modernos. Tiene una parte en planta baja, donde está el living comedor con sofá cama y una cocina súper equipada y un baño completo. Luego el cuarto principal se encuentra en un subsuelo al que se accede por una escalera que para un niño pequeño o una persona mayor puede resultar un tanto empinada. En dicha planta además hay otro cuarto de baño pero sin ducha. El acceso al departamento da a un patio interno común con macetones y vegetación. La zona es súper trendy, llena de negocios y restaurantes. El ingreso y salida fue muy sencillo. En líneas generales estuvimos muy a gusto y el departamento es muy lindo. Todo estuvo muy bien. Si tuviera que sugerir algo es algún tipo de cortinado black out para un mejor descanso en la planta baja, en la zona del sofá cama.

Excellent place to stay! Right in the city with plenty to do, but the rental is quiet and peaceful with a beautiful entry and relaxing bedroom tucked away. Very much enjoyed our stay!

This apartment is excellent for a couple looking to enjoy the best neighborhood in Paris. Amazing location. The bedroom is downstairs in the cellar but very exciting and intimate. Not quite as big as the photos might seem, but plenty of space and comfortable. The living room and kitchen were great for lounging at home. The shower and bathroom upstairs were good, and the bathtub downstairs (plus half bath) were a nice luxury. I would choose this over a hotel. Would recommend this place to a friend.
